The purpose of your video determines the quality and quantity requirements. Vlogs are expected on a more regular basis than, say, corporate videos. It goes without saying that the quality requirements are therefore lower for vlogs. Make your own assessment of what the expectations are. In doing so, be sure to take a look at your concierge colleagues. Still, if you can deliver a tad more quality videos than them, you should definitely not pass it up.
Sometimes quantity is more important
With testimonials (customer testimonials), quality is actually of secondary importance. The message absolutely takes precedence and quantity takes precedence. The more people who leave positive testimonials for you, the better. Quality is then a beautiful thing.
In certain industries, it is important to have a continuous visual presence and dominate on social media. In that case you obviously go for quantity and depending on your budget you will have to make a concession regarding quality.
Nowadays, smartphones are equipped with decent cameras. A tour of your company, an employee talking, a testimonial with some satisfied customers… it is all possible to capture this in a solid way with a device that you have in your pocket anyway.
Note that audio is at least as important. The perception of quality hinges on good audio. Provide a tie-pin microphone that you can connect to your smartphone. This makes a big difference!

Just be careful not to damage your company image. A holistic, critical prospect interprets the entire quality experience as substandard when 1 aspect does not meet expectations. I.e., poor quality photos, a spelling error, or substandard video quality could deter that prospect from purchasing your product or service, regardless of the likely valuable content of the message you are broadcasting. So don’t skimp on quality. So when creating a corporate film, definitely go for perfection.
