What does the ideal corporate movie look like?
As an entrepreneur, you may have already thought about having a corporate movie made. A corporate film that allows you to present your company to the outside world in a clear and professional manner. That, of course, is super important. But… what exactly does the ideal corporate movie look like?
What does the ideal corporate video look like?
Short answer: the ideal corporate video may not exist. Every industry is different, every target audience is different. Logical, but there are still some criteria that it is best to adhere to when having a corporate movie made. I briefly go over them:
First, a corporate video should not just be about you and your company. Start from the value that the potential customer will experience when he or she chooses your company. Of course you may refer to how you respond to the needs of the customer, but start from those needs. Explain how you work toward pleasure or away from pain with your product or service.
Second, it is important that you make the video not too long but also not too short. Tell exactly what needs to be told. There is no such thing as the ideal length of a video. When we at Swift get the question “how long should a video be best?” we always say “as long as the attention span lasts”. Make sure your message stays interesting.

Third, you must incorporate enough tangibility and personality into your video. When you work with people, it’s important to also engage them to help be the showcase of your business. Show them and you come across as much more personal and trustworthy to the outside world. Stay away from stock employees as long as you can.
Fourth, put enough emotion into your video. Emotion makes you buy, as soon as you can put someone in the right emotion they will develop some kind of sympathy for your company and that may translate into a sale.
Fifth – and this one actually ties in a bit with the fourth criterion -. A corporate movie consists of images but also of sound. Without super professional sound, you can’t elicit the right emotions and quality experience from the viewer, so make sure you use the right – royalty-free music and deploy sound effects to add that extra conviction.
